For us, India is a land of stories. We all grew up listening to tales. Those were the good old days when we would sit around our grand-aunts, Dadis or Nanis as they told us philosophical tales from our classics and epic literature, took us on fantasy journeys regaled us with witty tales of Akbar and Birbal, classic tales of Panchatantra and so on.

 

The stories, interspersed with a narrative helped us get the right perspective and learn some important moral lessons. But, those stories are now forgotten and many got lost in

the hustle-bustle of our busy lives.

We as moms love telling strories to our children and our children enjoy tales from old Indian books. At one point we literally ran out of stories. Of course, we have so many options available online but we were looking for some short, fun audio stories - the idea was to limit their screen time and technology.

That’s when the basket of talez seed sprouted—we thought of creating a one-stop audio library loaded with some fascinating stories for all!!

 
There are many things that we love to pass on to our children. Our favorite stories and characters from mythology are chief among them. At this time, when families are getting smaller and living far away from grandparents' and screens turning into default babysitters and storytellers. It may not be a bad idea to bring back a slice of “Classic Stories” into our lives again!
